One of the good things about the Biologix Center, in Franklin, TN, during this time of COVID-19 pandemic is that unlike many other clinics and hospitals, we only do 1-3 week programs of care. What this means is that we don’t have any walk-in patients who might be inadvertently bringing in COVID-19. Besides the group of patients who have been screened from the start and daily, the only interactions our patients have are with our staff, who are also screened daily.
Patients spend about 5-6 hours a day at the Center, doing their daily treatments and therapies, after which they self-isolate in their lodging. Some of the people have told me if they were either going to be self-isolating at home or at the Biologix Center, they are so glad they kept their appointments, since they would just be miserable, sick at home, instead of healing at the center!
The environment of the Biologix Center is surreal these last few weeks of COVID-19 crisis, because the mood in the clinic is very joyful with people getting better everyday from their years of illness. Last week we had a patient who before treatment could only move her left arm about 17 degrees and was unable to use her hand, who then after treatment was able to move her arm 170 of the normal 180 degrees range of motion and open and close her hand! She previously could not use her left leg or stand, and last week stood up out of the chair after years of not being able to use her leg. We had a young boy who had been sick for years and failing to thrive, rebound dramatically. We had a person who had years of pain and diverse symptoms who is essentially symptom free this week! Another patient who was diagnosed with MS called in to let us know she is now standing up and able to walk around the house for as much as ten minutes, doing chores after the last visit where we did our new INPT treatments! Another person from last week is transformed now that she can sleep all night, her brain function and anxiety is gone, and is no longer in pain! And yet another person is symptom free for the first time in many years!
The Biologix Center is a very protected and safe space. The patients and staff are more like family, loving and encouraging each other. All precautions are taken every day to make sure our patients and staff are safe, and more and more resistant to any infection…including the COVID-19.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, people suffering with chronic illness of any type definitely do not want to, nor should expose their weakened body to a big hospital environment, or even a small clinic that takes walk-in patients. Come join our Biologix family of staff and patients. We only take about 16 patients though our 1-3 week, all-inclusive programs of care. All you see is the same people each day, people we already know are safe to be around. Of course, we still recommend “social distancing” within the clinic and take all precautions of keeping the clinic sterile.
We do not want anyone to suffer at home for the next few months, waiting for this pandemic to pass. You can isolate here, but get treatments everyday. Many of the thousands of people we have treated over the last 25+ years have been forced to isolate due to their illness, since they could barely get out of bed and could not be around other people. All we ever see are people suffering with the illnesses and symptoms that most doctors don’t want to deal with, or whose doctors don’t know what to do for them.
