Lou Weyler, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Lou Weyler is a Tennessee native and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in functional and integrative medicine and a passion for helping patients navigate complex, chronic health concerns.
Before joining Biologix Center for Optimum Health, Lou founded and operated a functional medicine practice, where she cared for hundreds of patients using an individualized, root-cause approach to health. Her clinical experience includes chronic and complex illness, hormone optimization, metabolic and gastrointestinal health, weight management, peptide therapies, IV nutrient therapy, ozone-based therapies, and other advanced integrative approaches. Throughout her years in functional medicine, Lou developed a particular interest in the relationship between chronic stress, trauma, the nervous system, and physical health. She is passionate about helping people understand how prolonged patterns of stress and unresolved emotional experiences can influence physiology and potentially contribute to the larger picture of chronic disease. This interest has deepened her belief that meaningful healing often requires looking beyond an isolated diagnosis to understand the whole person—their physiology, environment, life experiences, stressors, and individual story.
Lou earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2020 and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She brings to Biologix years of functional medicine experience, clinical curiosity, a strong commitment to patient education, and a deep respect for the complexity of the human body and its capacity for healing.
